The ECU considers the car warmed up at 176F, at which point it drops the idle from 825 RPM (I think) to 700 RPM. I have a Nismo thermostat in my car right now. It's still been about 105F out lately. Despite that, it takes a good 10+ minutes of driving before the car gets warm enough for the idle to drop to 700 where it belongs. On this basis, I'll be switching to a stock thermostat next time I'm in there.
